Review:

I’d Taken her, but ultimately, she’s taken me. I’d tried to destroy her, but serendipitously, she’s destroyed me. This was the beginning of the end.

In this installment of Indebted, Pepper Winters does not disappoint with her well known cliffhangers in this series. We follow alongside Nila as she begins to find power in her womanly wiles with the realization of the hold they have on Jethro. We observe Nila go from almost broken to a  determined fighter who refuses to accept what fate has in store for her. Her resolve to find her way into Jethro’s heart and bed is her only hope to try to save herself from these ridiculous debts. Watching the power struggle between Jethro’s obligations and his weakness mounting for Nila is addicting. Of course, there is no easy win for either of these souls as they spiral into madness that surely holds death for both of them. This part of the journey will bring revelations to light and darkness looms as Jethro and Nila continue to wage a war that will find them both too consumed to see the darkness looming ahead for both of them.

This installment gives us not only a more in depth look at the reality of the debts over the generations, but we see Nila transform. She find her strength and determination while we watch Jethro slowly begin to lose his to Nila’s ultimate plan. Pepper Winters will leave you breathless, pissed, needing, frustrated, and wanting much much more. The details and the cliffhangers will drive you mad, but they are needed, to lead you into the unknown. This was a very well written book that will leave your head spinning….

Be sure to continue the series with Book 4:
